Description
Every year, countless hoof bandages made from polypropylene (plastic) are used around the world. However, as these bandages also fall off and end up in the slurry tank and are later spread on the fields, we have developed a hoof bandage that is not only biodegradable, but also compostable.
- Raw material: Bio-based renewable raw material
- Biodegradability: Biodegradable under natural conditions
- Compostability: Can be decomposed in a normal compost heap
- Environmental friendliness: After a certain period of time, it decomposes mainly into carbon dioxide (COâ‚‚) and water
- Soil improvement: Wood fibres improve the soil structure and promote water storage.
